This hike has some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the Shenandoah National Park. Combining two out-and-back hikes, White Oak Canyon & Cedar Run, this loop starts at the bottom of the valley and cuts over near the top of the ridge. With five major falls, numerous smaller cascades and pools, this circuit hike is one of the best. This is a hike for those who are comfortable with 7.3 miles of hiking in an all-day adventure. We will also be providing an opportunity to try rock climbing at the top of the falls. This is optional and you can still join the hike without climbing. After we hike to the top of the falls, we will come down the same trail but play in the waterfalls as we descend. UP Adventure ranks this day in the top 5 spectacularly beautiful and fun days we offer.
